Understanding Substance Use Disorder- The Basics
It is an introductory course for individuals seeking to help and support friends, loved ones, church family, groups and others in their communities struggling with alcohol and drug addiction.
This course introduces the learner to the world of addiction. By the end of the course, the learner will gain a foundational understanding of substance abuse and the addictive effects of these substances. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit and applying biblical tools and strategies, the learner will know how to plan and deliver the best care possible to those struggling with substance use disorder in their church or community.
