What you will learn?
This course is NOT for licensed therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists or other credentialed providers. It is an introductory course for lay counselors, coaches, and, as mentioned in the first slide, those genuinely interested in offering basic help and support to those struggling with substance abuse in their local communities and faith assemblies.

- Defining Mental Health and Mental illness.
- Understanding the Connection Between Mental Illness and Substance Use Disorder.

- Careers in Alcohol & Drug Addiction
- Treatment and Support for Substance Use Disorder.
To be awarded a certificate of completion, the courses listed below in each of the programs have to be successfully completed.
